ON MOTHER'S DAY LIGHT A CANDLE
FOR THE MOTHER OF ANTINOUS

Happy Mother's Day! We honour the mother of Antinous, who gave birth to him in Bithynia Asia Minor (art by Priest Uendi).

By sacred synchronicity, 10th of May 2015 is also the Celtic Feast of the Three Mothers. The Triple Mother Goddess is a goddess of prosperity and the promise of a good harvest, she helps those who are prepared to work for their goals, and will give sustenance to body, mind and soul.

There is a carving from Roman Britain which shows the three goddesses seated holding symbols of their blessings and being offered bread and fruit.

The triple Goddess does not always have to be Maiden Mother and Crone, she can be a triple Maiden, Mother or Crone. And she can change her nature as she wills, being all in One whenever she chooses - or whenever we need.

So light a candle for the Triple Mother today in the guise of the Mother of Antinous ... give her an offering of bread, butter and jam, and ask her to bring success to you and your family.
